hi Deb, been pretty busy lately, only peeked in on the nest on/off occasionally, seen only empty nest. should start having more time now. hope all is going good at work

Good Morning Doreen and NCTC Friends

Doreen yes i am finding the same ... pretty quiet at our nest; any activity is usually in the early am or evening just before dark.

835 am
Small bird explores the nest nest and swipes some bedding then poof gone again.


Last night the royal pair made visits separately to the nest ... just before dark.
Terri did a video; i posted pictures on BE 101.

hi Deb, great video. ty. I did not see them tonight again. watched for couple hours. oh well, maybe tomorrow in better weather. going to be warm for a big change here, 80's and 90's next 4-5 days bit too warm for me, oh well...

hi Deb, another night that I didn't see them, but I have the nest up and am working on other things so am probably oblivious to them as I work away well, working tomorrow so will be back Thursday have a super restful evening

Morning Doreen Thanks for your posts. I heard the birds last night but never saw them either so they were there just not in the nest

Deb, ty for the video, they sure look great I wonder if they'll get the high heat we are getting here, I sure hope not, unless they go swimming and fishing all day i have been watching the last couple hours but I think they are hunkered down in the trees, probably caused by the heat. hope you're not working too hard

think it was a beautiful red sunset tonight at the nest, the nest had a red haze all across it and it looked beautiful. I didn't see our lovies though and it will be getting dark soon. goodnight Deb and all
