This is one of Liberty's favorite perches called the Christmas Tree. It is right across the Highway Bridge from the nest...

For those of you who have followed this nest for a while, you may remember when Spirit first arrived here back in 2013 and how much fun it was watching Liberty "train" her new young mate!

Well, I'm pleased to let you know that although Spirit is still quite a character, he has matured into a fine, proud Papa & an excellent provider!





And, Liberty, who we believe is 18 years old now, continues to be a magnificent, dedicated Mama who has already brought 18 eagles into the world!

Sue caught a switch today at 12:38pm, I was down there till about noon & then had to get heading so I missed it! Liberty in and Spirit out!

Sue also caught an egg roll this afternoon with Liberty in the nest...
