2:03pm Mom's feathers seem to be a bit ruffled up, but I suspect it has something to do with the current weather!

Thanks Yolande... I think you missed my post above ..Wink [from Bev]

Maybe I'm a bit slow today but not sure which post you're referring to, Bev Chin Sorry!

More work under the nest - a back-hoe type machine this time...Mom's not too bothered, but does seem to be lower in the nest than she was before...

ADD: Thanks Bev - I did see the post, but was posting myself and neglected to open the links!

ADD:I just saw your post with the close-up of Mom's feathers, Bev. LOL It's been my experience that two [or more] people often make the same observation - it happens frequently when several are posting at the same time! We are notorious for posting the same scaps too.

I did get the archives earlier this afternoon.

Then I couldn't get the site to open at all.

And now (2:00 pm) I can get them again, and am watching video from 12:40 on North cam ("every 10 minute" thumbnails end at 1 pm, with "not available" after that - but that could be because that file hasn't finished loading).

Switched to Harrison South, have ...loading archive....

Refreshed the page, finally got thumbnails, and then every-10-minute thumbnails ending at 1:10 pm.

I think Cococat posted somewhere that WildEarth said on Facebook that they were having some issues with their website - their initial post about that was a couple of days ago, but there were comments suggesting it was still an intermittent problem.

I am a bit surprised that we haven't seen Dad - I know that the females often do a lot of incubating when the weather's bad because they are bigger and can keep more of the nest dry - but there have been times when it looked as if the rain had stopped for a while, and Dad could have taken a brief turn.

I'll be heading for home soon - so maybe he's waiting to sneak in when I'm not looking. Whistling

Thanks Judy.. Tried the archives again and they are down for me....

I hope and pray Dad is OK like all of you ... this is very unusual for him not to make an appearance even if Mom didn't want to leave the eggs !

Phew I was really starting to worry as I read through the posts. Glad to see Dad showed up finally, and he is ok.

Hope you feel better soon Bev. hug
