Good ole Dad.....Well that's a first I'm sure...hehehe

Good morning everyone. Wow what an evening with the first egg arriving. Looks like mom and dad have this all taken care of.

4:15am or so Dad arrived on the nest. He left again.

6:09am Mom is tucked in.
6:18am Mom is awake and there are soft vocals. Crop drop.
6:29am She is calling softly and I hear an answer. She is up and stretches her wings several times. More vocals
6:31am Mom off nest.
6:35am Mom is back and she settles over the egg.

6:46am The nest is empty.
6:47am Dad arrives for his first incubation duty.

6:09am Mom is tucked in.


6:20am Mom awake and watching around the nest.


Mom returns

6:46am The nest is empty and we can see the egg.
6:47am Dad arrives and settles. He is up again, rolls the egg and settles once more.

Here is my first good view of the egg.

Good Morning Donna ..Litz and all.... This is so exciting to see an egg on this nest...

Congratulations Mom and Dad ! Hoping for a successful season on this nest ..

Another peek in here and i think it is 9:20am but i am not sure ... Is there 3 hours difference in my time and yours Donna ?

let's check that out Bev Right now it is 10:14 at the nest.

8:21am Mom is back and dad is off.
8:21am to 10:00am Mom has been up and down several times. She rolled the egg at 9:56am. A magpie was bothering her at 9:30am and again at 10:00am. I am off for awhile.

8:12am In with a stick. Mom is off but returns.


Both on the nest. Dad leaves and mom is over to the nest bowl.
