10:20am No eagles

10:33am Both are on the nest now. They are moving sticks and checking around the fence.
10:44am One is off and the other has feathers poofed up to keep in the warmth.
10:51am Up to the perch.
10:57am I can hear the eagle up above and then there are soft vocals, too.

7:10am Dad is on the nest. He stands at 8 watching over the area.
7:23am I can hear a magpie
7:30am Contact vocals with an answer.
7:32am More alert as he watches.
7:38am Can hear landing or take off from above. Dad is off over the lower left side of the nest.
7:39am I can hear movement above.

9:00am One eagle is on the nest as the other comes in with a stick. Some preening, watching and stick moving.
9:05am ONe up to the perch above the nest.
9:40am Both off

1:00pm Both are on the nest. There are some new long sticks on the nest now. The view of the nest from the bottom is beginning to be obstructed. If they keep adding to the fence there we may not
be seeing eggs in the nest bowl. Talons crossed that this does not happen.

1:03pm They work around the nest.
1:04pm Dad is off.
1:26pm She flies up over the nest.

10:05am One on the nest and off at 1006am


10:09am I can see an eagle up on the perch due to the shadow on the nest.

10:30am Dad on the nest and up to the perch and off pretty quick.

I was in and out the rest of the day but did not see the eagles.

Even though I checked often I did not see the eagles today. There was snow overnight and the temperature ranged from 0 to 7 degrees.

December 18, 2016

It was another cold day with the high temperature at 20 degrees. It will be warmer the rest of the week.

I did not see the eagles when I checked during the day.
