NEST ACTIVITY CONTINUED
3.21 Eagle at the pond, zoom in and takes off lol
car parked at pond on driveway, maybe that scared them off
People standing outside of the car ugh.
Happens everytime. That is why the eagles are retreating to the church tree instead of the pond snag trees after baths... My motto: stand in place if you are at the pond when they fly in. If you are not already at the pond when they fly in, StaY AwaY !!
It makes me sad that they are not comfortable and leave. Wish people would just understand that.
Some do not know better unless educated on nesting etiquette. Others are there for the almighty best photo. And we do the Eagles no favors by posting that almighty best photo. The photographers try to one up each other constantly. Okay, I'm finished ranting.
3.23 found on the big tree behind the church
Holding wings out preening, pretty sure a bath was had or attempted.
Looks like Harriet, tail dark on her right side.
At 4.20 still perched in the church tree
4.35 panning cam 2 shows one still in the church tree, no sighting of any at the pond, pond trees, oct or in the nest tree.
5.14 Adult still in the church tree (moved cam because it was really starting to bounce on the view to church tree, winds picked up).
6.10 Still perched in the church tree
6.21 H moves ruther up the limb in church tree, hard to see at times now.
6:50 looked and i think Harriet is in the nest

6.56 Both H and M in the nest now

6.59 M leaves after testing the bowl a bit
7.02 H goes up, to the limb to right I think, vocal chittering and back to the nest. then M leaves the tree.
7.05 M went to the oct. H still on the nest
7.08 back to the tree, attic branch
7.15 M moves ruther out on the attic branch
7.16 H leaves the nest and goes to the attic, a little closer to M, then closer, then then then chittering again
7:20pm both preening
11.12 alert vocals by H then M. I did not see either leave their perch in the attic. Nite H and M. See you in the morning.
