Hi Ladies...

One eagle on the nest about 10:10 a.m. Not sure who it was.

Mary... It might have been my mistake who I read the post. So who has the privilege to name the pair of eagles? I am about 60 miles from Beulah. I have been there many many times in the past.,

Eagle back on nest at 10:15 a.m rearranging sticks then flew off..

Diane, I'm not sure if they have names or if they will be named at all. In my research that I did to set up this thread I didn't find any mention of names. In fact since it is a brand new cam I didn't find very much at all about these eagles. Roll eyes

Tuesday evening... 6:15 p.m.

One eagle on nest for a few minutes. Sometime this afternoon new nesting materials have been brought in.

6:25 both on the nest. they are 'beaking' each other (kissing???) Both flew off nest at the same time. I can hear them calling in the background.

I noticed as they were standing with their tail feathers towards the cam that it seemed one has shorter white tail feathers than the other. Who is the male and female with the shorter white tail feathers?

Diane if you look at the pictures in this post you will get a good look at Mom. I haven't seen a good close up of Dad yet.

Between 9:15 and 9:30 a.m. both in and out of the nest and calling out to each other.

Thanks Mary. I will still have to study them while they are both in the nest.

Hi Diane and Mary,

Thank you for info Mary. Like Diane, I'll have to study them also. Chin I never was very good at telling the males from the females.sigh sign

Diane, we must have been watching at the same time this morning.

HI Grubby so glad you have this nest to watch and report on. will be interesting to learn about their behavior and when they begin to work on their nest and lay eggs. Smile

Hi there...

Getting very windy at the nest. We have a winter storm coming from the south of Michigan and heading all the way to the north covering all of Michigan. I'm sure the nest will have snow on it by this afternoon or early evening.

Hi Donna... I will try to report as much as I can. It will be ice to see if we can find the nest when the weather gets nicer.
