You're welcome, Bev! And once we start seeing them regularly again, I hope you will consider updating your post - and adding a link to the opening posts like you did last winter - that really is great information, as not all eagles take mid-winter breaks!

I will be happy to do that Judy.Smile.... I am in the process of adding my post now with your responses to the opening post.Smile

Christian Sasse and David Hancock did a 'Periscope' video on Christmas Day in Delta, BC. I just posted the story for David on the HWF Home Page at archive.hancockwildlife.org and there is a link to the 45 minute video and identification of the eagle due to her leg band numbers.

Yolande

Afternoon everyone!

Thanks for the great discussion and information re the H's presence/absence, Bev and Judy - very interestingLeft thumb up

Seems to be continuing to be very quiet at the nest - will sign in and look around for half an hour or so...

2:21pm I zoomed all over the valley and saw 2 adults perched. Nothing at the stacking tree or the lone tree, but an adult has just landed at the riverview and I think there is another [juvie] farther out - maybe one closer in too...

2:34pm I checked the nest area and saw nothing - the sun is a bit problematic over there right now anyway.

Re-checked at the river view in case the adult perched on the log had a 'friend', but could find nothing LOL

2:38pm The NPTZ is back on patrol and I am off....

Byebye

ADD: 2:49pm I watched the Chehalis underwater cam for about 5 min and saw only 2 smallish fish there....

oh....I have the south streaming.....but north....nada....
