Yesterday David Hancock and I met with Dean Atwal from Vancouver's JOY TV (channel 10) to do a series of promos for the upcoming eagle festival. Also there was Betty Anne from Pretty Estates in Harrison Mills. Coming out from Delta was Rob Hope from OWL (Orphaned Wildlife) with Sonsie the eagle and Karen Wheatley, president of OWL.

The 90 second promos will start on JOY TV the first week of November and there will be a six minute story that, unfortunately, will not run until Sunday evening, Nov. 22 at 9 p.m. when the festival has just ended. However it will encourage folks to come out to Harrison Mills in the post festival days when the numbers of eagles usually increase. Thanks to Yvonne and Fred Leung for donating the funds for this promo.
