I seem to have problems having to log on all the time. For a while if I closed the page & came back a few mins later I wouldn''t have to sign on. Now yesterday I had the diminish the page just so I wouldn't have to log in each time I came back in

Hope you can figure it out. I have it set fro remember me for 1 month

Pat I wonder if it would work to clear out your browser history and maybe remove your bookmark to HWF and start again ?
I've had the same problem myself and removing the old bookmark and re-bookmarking seems to work --- at least for awhile.

Hi Ev1,
For what it's worth, here is the way I deal with the login/logout problem.
I created a link to whatever page I want to open up in, while i am logged in. I put the link on my task bar. I don't logout when I leave HWF, I just close out with the X in the right corner. If I don't clear my cache, the next time I want to go on to HWF I just click the link and I am in.
However, nothing comes for free!! The trade off is you will either show as being "online" all the time or "offline" all the time depending on how you check your "Show On Line Status" box under Privacy in Account settings. I chose to not show my online status.
This is the only work around I have been able to find so far.
I just remembered that when I had XP (I now am on Vista) when I turned off my computer it would automatically clear the cache. I think there is a way to tell it not to but am not that sure. Also, if you do a lot of browsing on other sites, you may have to clear your cache more often than I do, so the work aroung may not be worth your while. I only clear cache about every 2-4 weeks depending on how much browsing I have done.
I hope someone can come up with something better! Meanwhile, I will continue as is!

Not to sure where you would like this? Re Spam message. I typed a post for African Wildlife about 5 minutes ago. The websites I referred to all showed as 'safe'.
As I clicked 'Submit'. I stood up to leave the computer; out of the corner of my eye I saw the word 'Spam -------' and my post went into cyberspace.
 :dunno:

BBE I have no doubt the sites are safe. The forum software has likely chosen one of them as spam and we can remedy that by adding them to the white list.
Could you please send the url's to those sites to JudyB ? Maybe it would be best to send them by email in case the forum software refuses them through a PM.

Trouble sending a PM
When I try to send a PM, I get a red banner saying "Security Token Failure" and the PM fails.
I've tried writing short, quick PM's--no luck
JudyB sent me a trial PM to respond to--that didn't work
I tried cutting and pasting to a new window--no go
I've tried hitting the send button a second, third, fourth and fifth time--no go
I have Firefox, most recent edition
I have Windows XP
I use Zone Alarms secuity
Any ideas?
Thanks
