later she leaves and Dad arrives with stick to get to work!

Mom comes back with a stick also to help

I am trying to put together a grouping of Mom and Dad.. I have put some Dad facial shots up so far.

Mom's back feathers are messed up, perhaps a copulation early this morning

Mom has been laying in the nest since about 11:00 am.. watching her

We could be having our first egg here any time now


Mom moved around a little


Dad in several times to bring sticks and tidy up, he worked on the nest bowl too


5:49 Dad left and nest is empty at the moment

This morning at 7:00 am.. Dad was on the nest making his spot in the bowl when Mom arrived.

at 8:10 Dad brought a bird to the nest


And Mom ate the bird


Dad came back to check and left, maybe to get more food?

Hi Lynne---Food brought to the nest for the female is part of the courting ritual but Dad eagles are always hopeful that there will be some nestovers for them LOL!!

LOL, well she seems really happy with him and I think we are going to see an egg very soon, in the next day or two perhaps! He brought two things yesterday and hid the second thing (bird I think) under the grass, but she found it hehehe
I am enjoying watching these two!

Well the eagles came back to the nest late this evening, Mom found a nest over to snack on.

They were both on and off till dark, but i believe they are roosting in the nest tree, hoping for more egg like activity tomorrow

6:45 Mom arrived to the nest from the nest tree perch



Dad followed shortly also from the nest tree perch


Both left and Dad came back with food offering and then left so food is on the nest for later <3
