was a long day again, traffic made the trip to Boston a horror story, got the disks back here to the hospital pretty late went with son to see one of his roomates and very dear friend to me, like a third son. he was in different hospital, was in bad car accident this past Mon. but will be ok thankfully after cracked sternum heals and some other injuries. didn't get home til 3 and just sat for an hour with my buddy, he was telling me off i think, cheeping his head off got too used to me being here every minute with him i think, little bit spoiled maybe
Carolyn, my Pebbles was all mottled like yours and why i thought of the name also! guess it was rather obvious to us what they looked like and yes, many wonderful memories of her and so many other pets i had. i have a wonderful small animal specialist vet, does birds also which is super hard to find around here, and does cats, dogs, and many small wildlife, plus she has had some of her work with different wildlife saving in the newspapers too, anything found hurt on roads, woods etc. usually ends up with her. she has been very kind to me over the years with my birds, so nice that you have a friendship with yours.
Naoma, smart going for your walks before this real cold spell hit, we are in deep freeze for another two nights here before it warms up a bit Sat & Sun, did you take any new pics? about the new Berry cam, there's a thread also, Bev gave it to me, i have not had a minute to go there yet, will share it here as sure some may enjoy it
forum/viewtopic.php?showtopic=568593&mode=&show=20
Elle, ty for the cheers, love them i am thinking positive and feel very good about my oncologist and radiation Dr's.
Judy, glad you finally got some sun, we did also but it didn't help at all with the 0 temp and wind chill, and cute Jayden
Scott, try not to get that 'bug' , you end up very achy the next day. and yes, i feel the same, that i definitely have a great team of Drs, i feel very lucky and grateful too. maybe on the 27th for Juliet? might as well take a guess
Linda, yeah, it is really freezing here, but after a day or two it's kinda funny, you seem to get used to it. i see it is very cold there also, we are supposed to be in the 30's on Sat ty and i know you are all with me here and it feels so comforting and good love your pics from your outing, the ring bill gulls are kind of pretty birds, nice pic of the lone eagle, and pretty Pelican, great video, so nice that there is open water in places for the birds to fish.
Anna, wow, nice big pc table! Rudd did a great job, lot of work undoing everything and then setting it all back up like that, congrats to you both, the room looks wonderful. i think Rudd is always smiling that car is definitely good for Scott to go on his outings so cute
Iona, nice scap of B Collage nest and parent, will enjoy watching someday if i can stay home for the day
Jean, Annie and everyone
i am off to rest for apt. tomorrow at 2pm, have a great evening everyone

Hi EA Friends......
Let me see now if I remember anything or everything.....
Scott, was there a bear report yesterday? It will be neat when Juliet has her cubs.
Linda, I love your pictures....especially the eagle in the snow. Well...all of them!
Elle, Yes, we do get each other, don't we? That is so special.
TX, it's great to clean out, just remember to stop if you might want to retain something. The most cathartic moment I had was moving to Texas and cleaning out. Then I did it again when we
unpacked after our movers took the scenic tour of the State finally finding us after a week. We always joke when we see a moving van wandering around as we have been there.
Now we did refuse the snow shovel, but I don't expect to see any - we are 5 miles short of the line where that is possible. That being said, a flake counts as snow in my book!
Doreen, I love your Pebbles story. Pebbles is such a nicer name than Motley isn't it? She is delightful. Two kitties have totally accepted her. Eddy, my kitty, will hold out a bit longer, but is not mean in any way. Pebbles is afraid of Bleu and Miss Bleu just does not understand why. I am glad you have such a good relationship with your doctors. And yes, our pets do give us grief if we are not there for them when they expect us to be.
Judi, Your grandson is incredible. He is so young for all the things he does. Aren't you astonished? Also great to hear about the two eggs. I too cannot watch sibling rivalry on nests, figure I will wait it out.
Ruud's desk is fantastic, Anna. You must be so proud of him. Good luck with the shows. I know they are loved by all.
Annie, Hi! And a huge Hi to everyone else! I was busy again today with kids and new kitten and just got in a walk before the bad weather, thankfully.
sweet dreams,
carolyn

Hey TX, I don't think you have troubles memory wise either! You are sharp......
Scott, yes, Bleu seemed sad that Pebbles hissed at her. She is the most gentle dog. The hardest time for her was when two dogs attacked her. She just did not understand.
She got injured and the owners paid for the vet bill. It happened again and that time she fought back. They stopped. The next week the people moved - we were not sad.
Seeing Hope brings back such memories and sad thoughts. I still feel the DNR must feel the resentment, dislike, etc. of so many people. The Internet has presented a new world
for these hunters to cope with. I pray that the judge is not biased for any reason in February.
Good Night friends.....
carolyn
Pebbles was just sitting on my lap just looking around. I put her back up in her room until everyone and her are buddies. (Technically it is not "her" room, she is using it temporarily).

Hope........"Yesterday was the fourth anniversary of the first wild bear birth ever witnessed to our knowledge. We remember
Hope and all that she did to bring people and countries together for bears."
I'm reading a positive note to the comment about the DNR restrictions..........Much is happening behind the scenes
