Iona, I know what you mean about patients passing on.....It hits me hard every time when I have bonded with one (and Bleu too). Nonetheless sometimes, they actually go home!
And that is glorious. I try to keep up my invisible wall when in there so I don't absorb too much. Bleu had to learn to totally do that or it would have overwhelmed her.
The first few times were brutal for her.

I know Eli will likely change his mind over time, Scott.. He is a sweet boy. Those two actually fight over who gets to help me with chores while parents scratch their heads in wonder as to
what sort of magic potion I use to get them to do that. The same happened with my other grandchildren raking with me - my son wondered why they so willingly did it for me while at home????

I told my daughter to bring them all tomorrow and come here as her husband has to go all the way across Texas suddenly. She needs the outlet and the kids want to be here to walk with me and
help out with my chores.

Naoma: I love manatees. I saw two from the air when we flew to Belize but didn't see any while I was there. Wrong season. I think we were flying over Mexico when I saw them.

Scott Yes BB was first but was sent back because he kept kicking out at the dogs. Then Lucy, who is sometimes call Tangerine, who bonded to Clementine right away, and now Whitey. She seems to be a real sweetheart and is adapting well.
