Hi Bev,
On the second picture I can see Gentoo penguins . The penguin on the left makes some preening at his plumage that consists of numerous small and undifferentiated almost hair-liked feathers.
I cannot see what the two in the middle are doing. Either they do some egg rolling or they gently pull the little ones on their body to warm them. Chicks at the age of a few days can freeze very quickly.
