2:23pm.................Looks like and adult and a juvie in the water on the river side...........look how the water level has changed! Some days there is so much water here and other days like today, there is little.

Now I'm seeing 4 here for sure on the old tree.

2:53pm...................Bev, I don't know what this is for sure...................when I saw it I assumed it was one of the many little rivers running out to the flats. There are many little streams out there..................and water was flowing rapidly during the FVBEF in late November. Water comes down from the many mountains as it melts and that usually determines how much water we see in the flats. Too much, too fast in the spring results in floods...........During the festival we were able to watch the spawning salmon in these rivers too...............So that is my guess, another little stream. I know they would be trying to keep the course as dry as possible so someone may have helped make this or else it could be natural. But they wouldn't let me walk all over the golf course to check them out in person! Darn!

Thank you Jean.... It was so pretty.... what you said make sense .. i know we have the same thing here on a walking trail that i use in a wooden area close to the Halifax Harbor............. i love to stop and listen to the water and the birds singing...
WOW! Jean... you are soo lucky to have seen the spawning salmon in these rivers.... nature is amazing...
