Harassing the pelican.
Linda did mention that the juvenile drove the pelican away...chased for some time over the lake.

Linda also had this to say:

The second eaglet this morning was in the nest and the nest tree most of the morning with his father. He called for food, over and over. I was there at 6:30 am and watched mother bring 'something' to the nest, but they were not happy with it...
Finally, around 11:00 this eaglet got the nerve to take off. He flew around the area, touching his talons on the top of trees as he passed, as a game, not serious about landing... I've seen hawks do that here on our hill. Like practice... Then this one was gone from sight for awhile. Father finally left and flew out over the lake which brought both eaglets back to the tree with him. They must have thought he had food. Instead of landing, both eaglets soared up into the thermals (my first time watching this) and played 'war' with each other. They were up there at least 20 minutes, almost out of sight most of the time.. they took turns diving at each other, making contact a couple of times. Then back to the tree to rest with father. Mother never came back while I was there.
