Good afternoon, eaglet!

12:08 pm
Savannah(?) was just up and rolled the eggs, and they looked and moved like eggs. The light still makes it hard to see clearly, so I didn't try a s'cap. I must admit I was thinking we'd have a hatch by now - but it does take longer than you'd think - and Derek and Savannah are so expressive!

Hi mia!

12:39 pm
Cam just zoomed around a bit and is now focused on a tree and some of the fence around the habitat.

I heard some voices, and now it's very quiet. I wonder what's happening.

I can see the leaves moving, so the cam is streaming.

12:43 pm
Just checked facebook - Savannah Eagle posted that they were in the middle of a hatch and the chick was halfway out about 13 minutes ago. Grin I think they were trying to find an angle that gave a better look at the nest cup, and the cam took off - I sometimes control HWF's PTZ cams, and they can be quite touchy.

12:48 pm
They got the cam back to the nest - and then it took off again. I'm going to post this because it does give an idea of their habitat.

I'm guessing whoever is trying to move the cam is getting a bit frustrated right now!
