4:47pm.......It is getting dark now............lights are visible on the passing cars. Pam, Judy, Bev and Carole..........that was so great to see an eagle in the area! I don't know where they have all gone to either. It has really been quiet at many of the nest sites lately.

Looks white on the ground........is it snow or just the camera effect?? Here in Langley, there is very little.

:hello: Jean

It snowed almost all day, but it wasn't staying on the ground, so the cam must be picking up a slight snowy-glossy look.

I popped over into Abbotsford, passed 3 of my nests, 1st one had no eagles, 2nd one had one eagle at the top of the nest tree and a 2nd eagle in a nearby tree, 3rd had 1 eagle in nearby tree, then on the way back, 1 more unknown Juvie was sitting in the middle of the pumpkin patch field. I felt I had a good day by this point, so when I got home, I wondered since the other nests had them around, maybe our cam nest would have someone at home as well.

Sure enough Sitting eagle

Bev I could see where you might wonder why they only come when your not perching hug I for one don't want you to go away though. I know the eagles will show one morning while we are watching!

7:17pm..........:hello:Hey Pam! So glad to hear you are seeing some eagles around. And you actually saw one in our nest?? How uplifting that must have been! I see the occasional eagle here in the Langley area too. I have a favourite ravine area that I look in this time of the year...........last weekend,,,,,sure enough there was a juvie and an adult in there! Gives one a good feeling doesn't it??

Empty nest. :cry1:

A Very Snowy Good Morning to All Snow

Bev Anytime hug

Jean Sorry to have confused you. Not in our nest, the nests that I watch in the Matsqui area. Yes it does give one a good feeling, warm fuzzies!!

I'm not sure just how much we are going to see this morning, since the snow seems to confuse the focus, but I'll do my usual poking around as best I can.
