625 pm - A meal is eaten in the nest (think both parents shared this bird meal) Have the popcorn ready :p its a long video 24 minutes and I did not have the heart to shorten it...was great to see the birds again!

Ma is perched at the nest in the tree
wonderful to see her.

Ma repositions on the balcony branch; preens
abit and just seems to enjoy the view from there as
she is tracking the area.

920 am
Ma is still perched on the balcony looking all around.
Just love this new cam provides lots of wonderful opportunities
to enjoy this family.

Debs---Those are wonderful pictures of Mom perched in the tree this morning!!! Isn't it nice to see her? I think that we have sound here this year. I have the cam up and I hear boat noises coming from the lake!!

We had visitors at the nest again this morning. I watched them from 10AM to about 10:30AM nest time (PDT) when Dad left the nest. Mom must have been there for quite some time before that de-feathering and enjoying her breakfast.

It was a white bird today as opposed to her black one yesterday---swallowing a bone?



Feathers all over the place! She is really "feathering her nest"!

There must have been a few little bits but he is working real hard to find them.

I didn't see any eagles here today but I sure saw a close-up of a lot of feathers and tons of bees in the nest. When they backed up the cam it was obvious that the whole nest was full of bees---maybe that's why the eagles were absent!
