hi jkr - she is certainly working on it- I can't remember when that fish came in but it has been rejected for at least two days now. Perhaps it was dry to start and ma found the fish, someone mentioned it looked sliced - maybe it was a steal from a fisherman??or a discard?

Thanks gd. I sort of wondered if it was my imagination that it was sliced open. Glad I wasn't imagining things. I'll bet the fisherman that lost a trout that size wasn't too happy about it.

For those who don't know Calgary here is a link http://www.fergie.ca/aboutcal.htm which will take you to a fabulous shot of downtown and the osprey nest. The nest is next to the big hydro tower shown on the tip of the island at the bottom of the photo.

He is certainly watching the hydro pole area.

Second chick arrives from the direction of the hydro pole. Both chittering. I wonder if Mom is nearby ?
