The chick that finished his breakfast early is busy moving sticks. He has tidied up the center of the nest.

For the second night they were all off the nest. They are changing their ways quickly now. Loved that they all had breakfast. I so love this mom....she is doing it all.

Good to see so many keeping an eye on this nest. I am out until later this morning.

Morning all!

Judy, no I wasn't recording at 5:00am my time. I stopped doing that a few days ago after things at the nest stabilized.

Started this am at 7:00am Nest time. I have also deleted the majority of the recordings now from the last two weeks. Just too many GB on my computer. I have kept some that I thought were important or unique.

Sorry I missed the delivery. I have just logged back on - spent the last hour reviewing the directions about McAfee. Uninstalled - re installed - rebooted etc.

So until they do some other thing my computer is safe

WHile I was gone there was a fish delivery. All the chicks home - but only one is enjoying the brunch - for now that is Stealing has become one of their perfected skills Roll eyes

Good Morning.:hello:

10:23 am All three young are on the nest, the one at 5 just started eating, watched closely by the chick at 3. Both were mantling a bit earlier.

At 10:06 am Mom and one young flew into the nest, shortly followed by the other two and they all acted very defensive mantling and guarding the nest.
Mom stayed for 10-12 minutes and when she flew off the oslets were still in defensive mode with two looking down over the front (riverside) of the nest.

There was no scuffle for the fish, just mantling as indicated above and the youngster at 5 is still eating in peace. How long this will last remains to be seen.
:p

10:31 am The let at 3 just flew from the nest.
