Good day WR
I have been glued to watching for someone on the nest most of the day and to my surprise around 1:30 I heard loud screeping and Ma had brought in a large dog fish. ( I feel sure this was Echo because she had the white mark on the left side of her tail) Echo flew in fast and mantled the fish
and then Ma flew off. Echo ate most of fish leaving the tail. She then hopped up to a outer part of the nest looking out and did a poop shot into the nest and onto the leftover fish. In all the times I have never seen them not do there poop
shots out away from the nest. This makes me wounder if this was done on purpose to keep another from eating it. Echo soon flew off.
Ma soon came back to the nest and took a look at the fish looking at it kinda odd. She then moved the fish and again looked back on the nest where the poop was. This was interesting to see her really taking a look at it.
She then looked out like she was looking for one of the eaglets took the fish and flew off. I could here some slight screeping coming from the direction that she was flying to... in hopes it was Foxy that did not get any AGAIN this morning when food was brought in.

That was an interesting food drop with the eaglet arriving at the nest prior to Mom flying in.
It doesn't look like Foxy or Echo to me; I think Echo had lost that identifying white feather on
the lower left of her tail and to me this eaglet's tail feather tips looked different....just mho.

It was interesting to watch the juvie move the fish all over the nest and h/s didn't seem to get
a lot of bites. At the end when Mom flies away you can see her over the Bay going to the left.

Thank you Trudikk...interesting observation. I missed the poo shot to the fish. I heavily edited above recording but when I have a little extra time I will review the raw recording and look for that interesting behavior!
