Richard and Family,
I'm praying for Peace and Rest for Richard. I pray he will be resting in God's loving arms, where he will have no more suffering. I also pray for comfort and rest for Richards devoted family. He sure is blessed with having such a wonderful caring family. God Bless You All. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Richard, you've always been a class act, and nothing's changed here at the end of your life on earth.
I like to think that the thoughts of the people who are sending love to you are wings - these thousands of wings will bear you into the afterlife and I hope will also lift up those you leave behind in their grief.
Ride on to your destiny, and know that you've touched many, many peoples' hearts and minds. No one could wish for more.

Dear Richard, you are a blessing to the eagles that you brought into our lives and I pray that your next journey is a beautiful one. You are well loved by many around the world for all you have done. I have been watching the eagles for only a couple of years and only started posting on the forum last year but I am so hooked now on the eagle cams and Flyers rescue last year was totally awesome. I hope your family knows what a great man you are.
Fly with the eagles Richard.
Bless you

Richard & Family
Because I could not stop for Death
Because I could not stop for Death--
He kindly stopped for me--
The Carriage held but just Ourselves--
And Immortality.
We slowly drove--He knew no haste
And I had put away
My labour and my leisure too,
For His Civility--
We passed the School, where Children strove
At Recess--in the Ring--
We passed the Fields of Gazing Grain--
We passed the Setting Sun--
Or rather--He passed Us--
The Dews drew quivering and chill--
For only Gossamer, my Gown--
My Tippet--only Tulle--
We paused before a House that seemed
A Swelling of the Ground--
The Roof was scarcely visible--
The Cornice--in the Ground--
Since then--'tis Centuries--and yet
Feels shorter than the Day
I first surmised the Horses Heads
Were toward Eternity--
Emily Dickinson
I would rather spend my life close to the birds than wishing I had wings
We are by nature observers, and thereby learners. That is our permanent state. ~ Emerson
