Hi Hornby friends,

Doug thank you for the report on the herring run with the accompanying fun for you, eagles, many other forms of wildlife and hence, us. We could surely see it in our mind's eyes. A look at wildlife far, yet clear as can be.
Thank you!
Hope Mom and Dad's fortress does not get too big for your camera to see.......
smiles,
carolyn

Nighowl, loved your story of the visit. I do the same and it opens their eyes so wide.

Choose joy.......
Since Sept 2009.

How nice to see so many of your posts. They keep us all informed.

Doug, your recent reports are so informative and such good news to hear about the herring and the eagles getting a good feed.

Nightowl, it must have been so exciting for you and your daughter and granddaughters to see eagles up close and the young girls will cherish that trip forever.

Have a good week and enjoy Spring when it arrives tomorrow Very Happy

Nightowl, isn't it wonderful and exciting to be able to share our love of eagles and nature with our grandchildren! My granddaughter gets as excited as I do now when she spots an eagle!

First egg! One eagle or the other has been sitting in the nest all day. We just saw the second eagle land on the nest and take over a shift. Although we can see very little we could see it stepping down into the nest and doing its typical wiggle as it settled down in the nest. So I consider the first egg laid early this morning, March 19th. I cannot see the egg and won't be able to at any time.
