Scott, so beautiful and you didn't even have to leave the yard. Great!

Thank you Kay & Nanc Smile
It's always cool seeing the sub-adults Kay and nice when I get the chance to see the eagles of all different ages in one area.
I had a similar situation with a "surprise" eagle today too Nanc.

Sunny blue skies today so I did a re-run of my last outing on Jan. 31st.
Both Prest nest adults were perched near their secondary nest today.

A Red-tailed Hawk was soaring over the field next to the eagles. This is probably the one with the nest in this area.

Heading towards the eagle field I spotted an eagle flying towards it so sped up to get ahead of it and catch it as it flew by.
I could see many crows and eagles flying around the field before getting there.

There were lots of chases going on and it was so difficult to get a clear pic of the action. If an eagle had some food, then the crows chased it and if a crow had the prize, the eagles were after it. This crow had 3 eagles on it's tail at one time and the chase was very entertaining. This eagle kept on after the other two gave up but the crow got away.
It was amazing to see how fast they were flying and how quickly they could turn.
