Great video gemini!

2:55 Incubating parent gets up and shakes the rain off by flapping.
2:56 Other parent in the background eating.
2:58 more flapping

Can hear calls, but can't tell who they're coming from.

2:59 I think it was Savannah on the edge of the nest calling to Derek. Derek brings over some food. Savannah eats, Derek takes over incubating duties.

Savannah tells Derek she's hungry. Derek say okay, I'll go get you somehing. He comes back with a snack but stops to eat some along the way, then delivers the rest to Savannah and takes over the incubating duties!

Video Camera Not quite 5 minutes ( warning:the volume is a bit loud!)

I'm Hungry!

The clock is PST. I am reluctant to change it but still want to keep track of the time. (I am back and forth between Lafarge and here .) Just add 3 hours (I think??)

Great pics, eagle999! They tell the story without the video!

Gemini....Thank you so much for the video!! I had been out all day and just turned the computer on. Listening to (and watching) your video brought a few tears to my eyes,,,it's the first time that I had heard the voices of Derek and Savannah after watching them from the very first time they ever turned a cam on at the CRC years ago. It was music to my ears and magical!! Wub

7:29 still looks like two eggs to me! Especially when rolling it/them. I asked on Savannah's Facebook page and will keep checking for an answer. Smile
