I'm so glad Mom & Dad are home. It's great to hear the sounds of Hornby Island again. It's 90 F here so I look forward to hearing the wind and maybe seeing and hearing some rain. I have the volume up so I will be sure to hear any eagle sounds from any place inthe house. I'm looking forward to my first view of Mom and/or Dad for the 2011/2012 season.

Doug and Sheila are back, the cam is back (thank you Richard), Mom and Dad are back, all is well with the world.

Can't wait to see the nestorations, stick dances and arguments , and that gorgeous view.

Is this just the best thing since sliced bread or what? Doug tells us first Pa is home, then Ma's back, and now the cam...all in the same day! It just doesn't get any better than this.

It does look like the CU has seen better days, huh? I looked back on years past, and the back has been ajar for sometime now, but David and Alexandra really took a toll on the top of it. David even took a few chunks out of the WA while sitting up there, too. Boys will be boys!

It is such a thrill to see the nest again. Now all we need is a couple of particular eagles to make an appearance. Heck, I'd settle for a little trilling!
