Food supply appears greatly diminished.

4:46-5:01p - Dad remains in the 7 position...some looking around. He
did take a mini nap. (-:

5:25p - Some rocking and I hear C & D's sweet little peeps.
Seagull sounds.

5:35-36p - Call from Mom and two single answers from Dad.
More rocking and a shuggle.

5:40-46p - Dad flew out leaving the chicks alone. One pecked the other down.
Mom and Dad both on the nest. Mom brought a fish with her.
Dad left and Mom began feeding C & D.
I was interrupted so don't know how long the feeding lasted or how much each got...sorry.

6:00p - Another train rumbling by.

Hi JudyB & Ostrich.....I thought that looked like salmon but don't know for sure.

Out to dinner @6:01

Hi Everybody :hello: sorry I'm MIA but no choice until my pain settles down

I thought that one fish was a big, fat catfish! I swore I seen whiskers on it but I'm not sure either. That white one had me thinking a plucked chicken Green LOL

There's new prey now in the form of a bird, maybe a wee surf scoter or something laying at 3

Lori, nice catch of the intruder Left thumb up. I was out for dinner last evening on a hill high above Nanaimo. We heard a ruckus outside and of course I recognized the sound. Out on the balcony and to the right was a tree with a pair of eagles, both screeching their heads off and flying around close to the treetop was a turkey vulture.

6:23pm
Tuned in to a feeding, Charlie's getting a bit right now and has a large crop.
Must be the end of it, as the parent moves around and into the bowl to a brood position.

6:26pm
The parent takes time to settle, fiddling about for a bit.

6:30pm
Camera groans and goes out of focus briefly....day to night for the cam.

6:35pm
Adult remains brooding, head feathers are frowwwsy Wooh

7:27 pm Pa begins feeding Charlie and Delta, Charlie seems to get more bites , but Delta has a couple of bites that were huge !
7:34 pm Pa settles over eaglets to brood, with lots of peeping in the process from Charlie and Delta !

I view with audio. What does thrilling indicate? What does rocking and a shuggle mean? Really glad someone sent me this link.

at about 8:50pm give or take I was sitting watching the wide angle it wasn't that long after it went to the night time cam and the eagle on the nest I would think it was mom started trilling and in comes a eagle it lands on the branch that goes off at the 9 but farther up then where dad would normally go she keeps screaming/trilling till it takes off again and then she calms down for the night I thought it was dad coming in but now it has me wondering if we had a close intruder to her space.. it was a adult bald eagle I did take any pictures cause I really thought it was dad till it left again with out a trade off....
