I am back @ 6:47p

6:51p - One single call from Dad.

6:52-56p - More calls and looking around.

6:56p - Dad's up and out to the left of the nest trilling as he goes.

6:57-59p - Mom's in and very hungry eating the prey. Little ones stir awake,
sitting up but don't seem ravenous. There is no feeding.

6:59p - Mom flies out leaving Charlie and Delta alone but not for long.

7:01-20p - Mom's back settles to brood and begins pulling at the sticks, turns and
settles facing 7.

7:27-46p - Brooding facing 9....W/A.
Raindrops are beginning to fall again...hear them hitting the cam box.

8:03-06p - Dad's out there trilling over and over...Mom trills back a couple of
times. Raindrops still falling on her head. She's nodding off from time to time.

8:30 - Cams refocused..CU to infrared.

8:38p - WA to infra.

I'm out @8:44p

wave Here's a recording that I got at 5:30 PM appx. It's a feeding where one eaglet gets the most. I was watching the adult and the bowl seems too deep, so the eagle has to reach down too far causing extra problems in getting bites to them. [4m 21s]. Click here to see.

Hi Gabrielle :hello:

can somebody put the two names that were chosen in the same order they were posted in please? I'm too sore to have to dig. It would be 1 getting name 1 and 2 getting name 2 I'm guessing Titter

Hi back- sorry I didn't say so before. but have been busy offline most of the day- catching up now through posts and I would like to thank everyone for doing a great job of keeping those of us who can't be here, up to date. Great scaps, videos and observations!!----Mombrella in the dark 10:21pm

Good morning! I've been adding to the timeline thread for this nest - link - there are some gaps that I hope to go back and fill, and I have doubts about keeping this up to date - but if you notice any "firsts" or unusual events, feel free to PM me with a link - I can definitely add highlights and unusual events before I come through with the full summary of the day.

I will note that the summaries are likely to become briefer in time - if nothing else, older chicks are fed less often!

Thank you all for your wonderful summaries, s'caps and videos!

Added -

6:03 am
Just watched a feeding. Initially only one (probably #1/Charlie) was up being fed, but after a minute or so #3/Delta joined in. I wasn't watching closely, but didn't notice any rivalry once #1 had eaten a bit. (Didn't see any earlier - but it's more likely that #2 was put in submission than that he slept through the first half of the feeding - though both are possible.)
