I think it's a blade of grass Dede but don't ask me I'm dumbfounded right about now and so sore I can barely breathe. Now stressed out to boot!!!

I said it before I'll say it again, as long as there's fat fish laying there in the nest exposed this will not stop. This is a spot where lots of eagles live and if there's free food...game on!

out for a break Out

Omg, this is just incredible. I'm not sure if this is Dad in these s'caps or the intruder.

LORI - She DID hit the egg with her foot and that scared me.

By the locals Hoda these eagles are young 6 years and had their first hatches last year in another tree which they cut down because these properties below are million dollar homes being built right now so the owner of the house and lot saw the nest tree and put a few branches in the form of a nest and the eagles built the nest from there. If they only had one previous hatch last season then the sibling (s) are around. That is my opinion about the siblings. Hope that helps the read up is at the beginning of this discussion thread.

I'm discombobulated too! Mom at some point flew off the nest; then I had a phone call Evil I saw the adult flyover too but not sure if that was Dad or the intruder - but was a mature eagle - couldn't get the s'cap

this is Mom flying off the nest for a hot second... she or Dad came right back; think it was she...
