While I was out, I still had the cam up and saw Mom fly in and she and Dad flew out
together over the Bay....what a beautiful sight the two of them flying together!
Ha Lori......I glanced at the cam and saw that pose and it just tickled me.
Mom's collar feathers were what distinquised her from Dad for me in the early days
on this nest and other things later, like her body.
2:04p - Mom brooding facing 12. Sure wish we could get that stick out of the
way.
2:10 - Dad calling in the distance and Mom responds. Dad comes flying in...
both trilling their heads off. So sweet the way Mom then 'speaks to him.
Lots of trilling from offnest from one, maybe two other eagles. It sure put them on
alert. Dad is still on the nest on guard.
2:17 - They are trilling and calling warnings. I saw an eagle at the top of
the screen just now.
2:18-22p...more trilling and offnest trilling. The 'foreigner' is obviously still out there.

More calling. You can see someone in the upper left corner of the pic - not too close, but perhaps a lot closer than they like.

2:25 pm
Just flew by again, going from left to right out over the bay.

Ma is telling Pa his to-do list, isn't that cute. She does it everytime too unless she's really 'got to go'

I would rather spend my life close to the birds than wishing I had wings

2:23-24 - Missed getting a good shot of the intruder. You could see it circling out
over the Bay after it came really close.
2:27This is one of the longer periods that the intruder has stayed around.
2:30 - Mom has continued her little calls taking a few moments out for a little
preening.
2:31p - Dad flew out.
