This poor Mom has been rocked and blown all day...not nice weather!!! I took this scap many hours ago and never got a chance to post it. I think Lori posted a similar one but I'm going to post mine anyway...can't have too many eagle pictures! I did see her sometime later with her beak hooked over that lighter colored stick...I guess she was holding on!!

As I'm about to leave, trilling from Mom and answers from Dad...saying 'good night'
I bet. She has also gotten up, rolled the eggs and changed position to 3, a favorite
spot of hers to start the night.

I was reading the over 20 pages from today at Sidney and I heard poor Mom calling like crazy in the dark.

I'm back. Mary..storm blew thru within l5 min.,......i'm north of DFW off I- 35 near the OK border.

appx 8:43 pm.........Mother is facing 4 o'clock & fussing with small sticks within reach.

8:46 pm
Changing position to 9 o'clock & adjusting small sticks within reach there, as well.

8:50 pm.....nest still gently swaying

ETA:......8:53 preening
8:55 egg roll & settled in at 4 o'clock

8:59....watching towards 7 o'clock, nest still swaying.

9:10.....seems she's trying to rest, head dropped; eyes still open.

9:l2 .....eyes looked closed for now......then 9:l3 looking around again.

9:l5......same....maybe semi-sleep state?........Resting but appears to be listening, too, then @ :l7 gently rocking & changing positions to l0 o'clock.

9:20......alert & preening neck area

9:21......preening under left wing.......or maybe tucking her head in as it appears she's settled in that position.

9:25PM.......same position

texas is over & out till morning.

POOR mom...she does not look very comfortable at all. She keeps pulling her head out from under her wing and looking around.
