Beautiful, calm morning at White Rock - a welcome change from the wild winds yesterday. The cam just changed to color, and I haven't seen or heard anyone yet.

I'm pretty sure I spotted an adult do a fly-by about a half hour ago but I was on the phone at the time and couldn't post sooner.

10:25a.
I came in around 9a.. Thankfully no wind, not even a zephr.
No eagles on the nest from then to now but I have heard them.

10:14a - I heard much trilling in the distance.

10:17 - Calls from way in the distance from one eagle.

10:18 - More calling x3

10:24 - Lots of trilling from both and much closer to the nest but they did not fly in.

10:38 - A lot of trilling from one eagle fairly close to the nest.

10:44 - Still no one home.

I'm hearing a funny mechanical sound; hope it isn't coming from the cam.
Out @ 10:53 BBLOut (still no eagles)

I've had the cam up most of the morning but have had other projects opened that blocked the view some of the time. I haven't seen any eagles any time I looked, and and have only heard occasional faint calls (and I'm not sure if they were from this cam or Delta OWL).

I'm now hearing some rustling and thought I saw a few feathers on the left side of the WA cam - making me wonder if something is perched on or near the cam. No clue if it's an eagle or a crow - or anything else with dark wings, for that matter.

1:31 pm
I heard a call and definitely saw an adult eagle fly up from the waterside as if he or she was headed for the upper branches.
I also saw the diagonal branch heading up in the left center part of the top of the screen wiggle, and saw what might have been a wing flap up there.

I've not been watching constantly - but have been watching much of the time, and that's the only eagle sighting I've had today.

2:55pm - one eagle is in the middle of the nest bowl, mainly just sitting near the far edge and looking around, and occasionally poking at the bowl.

2;59pm - a couple of very loud calls from the eagle, also frequently looking around as if looking/expecting to be joined by partner, but nobody around yet. I think this is female.

Someone just stopped by, and is doing a bit of digging in the nest.

Left at 3:01 pm, flying away to the left. Similar calls heard in the distance afterwards.

3:01pm - eagle stepped out to the far edge of the bowl looking out and then took off out and along the edge of the water.

Saw a large bird fly over the water, possibly heading into the trees to the left of the cam view; could hear excited eagle cries as the bird approached.

I'm guessing it might have been the male bringing food to the female - but that's speculation on my part.
