2:55PM thanks for the great coverage! as usual they leave when they know I'm coming!! Titter

no eagle activity

3:22PM it is so still and quiet at the site I'd think the cam had stopped were it not for the 'date rate' display doing it's thing

4:29PM flights of birds traveling right to left across the view, way out over the water

5:08PM adult just flew in to the top of the tree... too fast for a s'cap.

5:23pM 2nd adult in to the tree top (or did the first leave and come back?)

5;42PM switched to night view

February 2, 2011

Great reporting yesterday - and great to see them around!

Still very dark, but I'm not seeing anyone perched in the tree.

7:09 am
Heard some calls and trills, and sounded as if someone could be perched on or near the WA cam.

9:13 am
I'm not doing a very good job of observing today - but about an hour ago, I'm quite sure one of the adults flew off over the bay from the big branch that goes up to the left starting just above the nest - I saw an eagle flying, and the branch was shaking.

I've also heard some calls now and then, and seen small groups of birds out over the bay, too far away to identify.

And I'm out for an hour or so.
