2:45PM I've been here about 30minutes and no activity at all. I'll be here a while...

I came for the eagles, and stayed for the friends I made

Juvie still perched in lower left.

It's definitely there... but I don't know if it is on our nest tree - not that that makes a ditterence I suppose.

Hi Terry!

4:10 pm
I've been watching most of the day with a couple of brief breaks here and there, and haven't seen any eagles or other large birds. I'm out now for a while, may be back later to see if we have overnight guests again.

Here's a s'cap - hard to tell if it's one of the adults or yesterday's subadult (it does click bigger)

7:40 am
cam switched from night vision - but the eagle has left

using this as a 'test case' I went into the hi-res s'cap archive and looked to see if that picture gave us any better indication as to whether the bird was an adult or sub-adult. I think it was an adult, What do you think?

I'd forgotten that we had high-res pics for this cam, Terry. Thank you.

Pic from just before the cam switched - because it is quite lovely

Someone dark just arrived and is perched to the right of the nest on the WA cam

I checked the CU cam, and they're not in range.

5:30 pm
The WA cam just made some funny mechanical noises and appeared to go fuzzy then refocus itself - possibly a periodic automatic process?
