Dear Jean and Gabe

I am so very sorry to read about your special Heidi. Reading your posts made my eyes well with tears. She was such a pretty little dog. It is amazing how animals can put such an impact in our lives. They are friends... they are family.

We now have two labs.. Jackson (yellow) 9 yrs.(in my avatar) and Rocky (chocolate) 8 1/2 yrs. I have... in the past ...held 3 of our dogs.... and 1 of my dad's dogs in my arms as they took their last breaths and went to sleep. Our 3 dogs ashes are on the TV in pretty jars.

I have read that poem before you posted. Great poem! Animals as so very special that is why Dog spelled backwards is God. Ever hear of that one before?

I just wanted to post and tell you you are not alone in your sorrow and emptiness.

:cry1::cry1:Thank you Diane. What a sweet person you are to take the time to send us a very precious note. We had to go to the hair dressers to-day one barber for Gabe one stylist for. .me
Them I* shopped the rest of the time and did groceries for the up and coming Christmas dinners. Because our son Daniel gave up his Christmas Day for a person who has small children we will be having ours Sunday after the Christmas Sat. So that will be nice. We will be going as we do every year to the buffet that one of the hotels puts on fir Christmas day,We go for the 5 o'clock one They have good food too. Have a Merry Christmas Diane and family and a hug from the both if us for your kindness in wrting to us.... Jean and Gabe

Dear Jean,
I am so sorry to hear about Heidi:cry1: I know she meant a lot to you and Gabe.
I can remember so clearly how badly I felt when my PonPon cat died last year Dec 11th, after 21 years of love and friendship.
I would like to add Heidi's picture to our Rainbow Bridge collage, whenever you are ready.

I just felt a call to come here and read about your Heidi. I am so sorry. She was a loved little lady and so cute with a wonderful owner. Here is a little poem for her......

Heidi was a colorful little beauty, sweetness in her heart,
she was our best friend for years, sitting on our hearth.

I miss her eyes, I miss her bouncing, I know she is at peace,
carrying on in her dancing, here in my heart.

She never will be gone, she always will be here,
we cherish that thought forever, Heidi, my dear......
