The previous 3 and these 2 were taken by my husband yesterday afternoon. He waited for an hour and a half - only one of the osprey was there for a short time. He was in awe of the wingspan!

Oh, DKY those are absolutely fabulous photos of one of our chicks ! I am green with envy that your husband was able to find anyone home. Please let him know how grateful we are to see these !

MID landed and then JR landed afterwards but JR chased MID off.

Now we know why JR didn't want MID on the nest. Mom has delivered a fish and JR grabbed it like he was starving to death. Probably after losing fish to SR so many times JR is overly hungry.

I don't have time to post images yet this am Still trying to get every thing done before the heat builds up. I am getting a new kitty Tues, and I have to make sure there are no "get out of the yard" gaps in the fence,.

Back later. Mom brought a fish about 11:30. There was a real fight between two chicks at 9:40 not sure yet if one was a stranger. One definitely was Junior.

BET, I wasn't here for the last delivery but JR and SR had a fish earlier this morning so I hope that last fish went to Middy.
That is exciting that you are getting a new kitty. Is your dog going to be jealous ?
