7:27 am
SR returned.
I wish she would start hunting on her own. She really does spend a lot of time waiting for fish deliveries each day.

7:29 am
She flew off toward the zoo.

7:57 am
Mom made a fish delivery and SR of course was on the nest to receive it.
I was vacuuming my office and missed catching a shot of the actual delivery. I'll likely be in and out as I catch up on housework now that my daughter and granddaughter are on their way back to Calgary this morning.

SR stayed mantled over the fish until Mom left the nest.

7:59 am
Mom left.
SR flew off with her fish.

8:30 am
JR finished moving sticks about and then decided to fly off.
I was hoping Dad or Mom would bring him a fish for all the extra work he did to the nest. I'm not sure if they would approve of the one he left in the middle though.

BET, I was thinking last night about the lack of fish the chicks have been bring to the nest on their own this year. With the weather being so hot this summer it could be due to the fact that the fish are staying deeper in the river making it harder for them to catch them. That's just my theory.
9:16 am
No one, except a magpie, has returned since JR's departure.

10:35 AM
If there has been any action since Mom left then I missed it.
10:36 am
SR came flying as if expecting a fish delivery and Dad obliged.
This is the second fish SR has scooped this morning. Talk about perfect timing on her part. I think all she does is watch for parents when she's off the nest and hightails it to the nest ASAP if they happen to have a fish.

10:38 am
So far she hasn't decided what to do with her fish. She's busy watching the west area outside the nest.
10:41 am
SR took off west with her fish clutched in her talons.
Nest is empty once again.
