12:10pm........IN on both for a very quick look around.

Things are not very crisp and clear to view.................It is due to the smoke in the area. I can actually smell it here in Langley this morning. No eagles on these poles and towers.

12:28pm.............We cannot see the hills, mountains or water of Boundary Bay................too smoky. It is also windy so it is hard to keep the cams on anything in the distance.

No eagles anywhere..................no sounds except the wind. A few small birdies on the first tower..............enjoying this tower all to themselves.

I am now OFF both cams.

2:32pm........Back for another look.

IN on both cams.

2:32pm to 2:54pm....................Absolutely no sight or sound of any eagles.............no wee birdies either.

This view mystified me a bit............small water drops on the cam cover. It is absolutely tinder dry here, not raining. Maybe someone below has a sprinkler on and the water drops flew up onto the cam cover............very, very windy here.

9:27pm............Thank you Lavender...........not a surprise our eagle family was not seen tonight but I wish we could still see them, at least one more time. Glorious sunset again........looking very pink in your s'caps, but in reality looked very orangy/red.

Here are the dates I have for the last sightings. If anyone sees something here that needs correcting please let me know.

July 25th.............both Spirit and Jewel were in the nest early and left the nest tree shortly after 5am. They have not been seen since.

July 30th.............both Ma and Pa in the nest after 6am. Ma never returned to the nest after this but was seen later that day on the poles at 6:41pm.

July 31st..................Pa was in the nest early in the morning. Pa was not seen in the nest after this. Later that day eagles (not sure if it was one or both) were spotted on the poles/towers...............and possibly an eaglet was seen there too, but can't be confirmed.

August 1st.....................One juvie/fledgling seen on the crossbars of the first tower at 9:04pm. No idea who this was.

The last day we've seen any eagles at this time was on August 1st...............No adults since July 31st.

Good night
