Hi Donna, Photo and Rita.. This is so heartbreaking. Rita, I'm glad you caught "Lucky" making a break for safety.. I sure hope he made it. Donna and Photo, thank-you for being here thru this season.. I just don't know what to say... it's just so sudden.

Hi FFF. Thank you for posting those photo's. I'm going to cry all over again now. Hope Lucky did make it.

Group hug to all. Especially Darrin. He must be devastated at this event. I'm at a loss for words. Photo that is so true in what you said "thank goodness we didn't have eaglets this year". Can't believe this has happened.

I am so sorry the nest is gone
so so so many memories

but ... I know the class and school and Darin will have another new exciting project next year!

(i've never cried for a nest before with no loss of eagles)
the best nest ever!

What a wonderful rescue and video. Thanks for sharing it here. Darrin and the moderator team at Eagles4Kids dont think this is Lucy. The Bay of Fundy is a
long way from Wisconsin for one thing. I personally don't think the foot, as seen in the video, healed in the same way Lucy's did. I can't prove it one way or another,
but I don't think this is Lucy. I am so happy to see this eagle doing so well after such an injury as it suffered.

Thank you Erikas99 for the wonderful video of the eagle rescue. Immediately I thought of Lucy, but know this could not be her. Saddened by the lost of the nest-glad there were no eaglets. Hopefully Blair & her mate will build a new nest in the same area if they find a good tree.
