Thanks for the update sassyk - I'm glad to hear that they cared enough to relocate the nest. Smile
I'll keep my fingers crossed for the new nest!

I visited a nest today that I reported on last year in the Goldstream area. There are 2 eaglets in the nest although only one made an appearance. The parents were flying back and forth from the tree area to other trees across the inlet and one was in a chase with a Red-tailed Hawk. The eaglets were squawking but neither of the parents took any prey to the nest.

I visited the nest in the Goldstream area today. Both adults were flying around the area and perching on the poles waiting for pieces of salmon to appear on the old wharves. A fisherman had come in to clean his catch and threw a few pieces on the wharf. Both eagles flew in for a pickup at different times and flew back to their nest to feed their eaglet. One of the eagles flew down and grabbed a carcass but dropped it in the water before it got back to the pole. There appears to be only one eaglet in the nest. I'll post some photos later.

A few photos from yesterday at the Goldstream nest. Both adult eagles were on different wharves at different times.
