September 12th. There was 1 sighting of him on the morning of the 12th of September in the winter pasture. I believe he has now migrated.

God Speed Harriet, Hal.. Honk and Hero on your Migrations south. May your journeys be filled with lakes and streams filled with fish. We hope to see you again in the Montana skies.

Monday ... March 13, 2017

Thanks so much Donna for starting this Season's Dunrovin Osprey Thread.

I peeked in today to see how things were looking at the Ranch. Sounds of spring are certainly in the air with many Red-Winged Blackbird's and Robin's heard in the morning hours. The Starlings and House Sparrow's are still there to greet the day along with Pileated Woodpeckers and Northern Flickers stopping by for a meal at the winter feeders.

Here's a couple of capture's from today.

7:49am - Starlings on the perch and nest.

1:41pm - Northern Flicker on the perch with Red-Winged Blackbirds on the nest.

No Ospreys yet.

Could this be Harriet ???

The nest has had a pair of Geese visiting it during the past week. The Female goose has been digging out a nest bowl which is why it looks dug out and not flat across the top of the nest.
