Glad you caught that Bet. Is Mom still here? That's why I wanted to see the delivery - great capture. Maybe the others are still around too!
At 1.40 nervous Nellie looked at the river and grabbing the fish flared her wings and moved closer to the river rail. She hasn't resumed eating and it looks like she wants to fly off with the fish but lacks the confidence. Finally after much looking around and several grabs of the fish over the river Sr flies at 1.49 pm.

Hi Jean and BET, what a day you have had here ! A black squirrel, SR, Mom, Dad and a stranger -- and your sweet orange tabby BET. What a beautiful kitty and I do like the names you are thinking of giving him.
I'm thinking like you Jean, if Mom is still here then it's quite a possibility she is still feeding JR and MID away from the nest. We can sure hope that's the case
3:41 pm
My luck is the same as it was this morning --- A very empty nest, but I did see a magpie fly off as I brought up the camera.

6:38 pm
I'm just doing a quick check on the camera.
She's still on the nest which surprises me and in some ways doesn't since she does like to wait extended periods of time for food. It looks like she found something of interest to watch at the zoo.

6:48 pm
She finally flew off
She returned a few minutes later.
7:00 pm
Watching the river and squawking.

Thanks Judy. I started watching again at 5.09 p.m. but wanted to stay with it until Sr. got her fish which didn't happen, - at least on the nest. Two hours and ten minutes is a long time to wait for a hunk 'o nothin.
At least we got a chance to admire the beauty of her feathers. Absolute perfection thanks to the never-ending supply of fish her Dad provided during their development. I'm thinking now that the supply may be running low as the river is so low and there is no rain in sight with our high temperatures continuing through next week. 33 was a record high for this day.
I was hoping to go down to the river tonight and was taken by surprise by this smoke that blew in. It was fine all day and then it came in just as I was turning off my sprinkler late this afternoon. My son came over for an early supper before his ballgame tonight which they shouldn't be playing as we have been warned to stay in. There is a ban on open fires now in Calgary which makes sense.

One thing about Sr she is persistent. How is your fire and smoke situation?
