Carolyn - Enjoyed your poem a great deal! You do have a way with words.

To pick up where Judy left off. There were three "ownership" mountings during the dual visit as they both seem to be watching an unseen visitor. Not once in the three events did Mom make any effort to present herself. So she is not ready to mate.

Dad left.

9:26
Mom watched as an Osprey flew by at river level with a fish. Then she focused on the area behind the camera. 6 minutes later when the fish didn't arrive on the nest , she flew off

Almost an hour later, Dad landed on the nest with what appears to be a whole fish

Mom arrives right after him. She makes 8 or 9 attempts (I lost count) to take the fish from Dad. Stretched his leg way out - hurt to watch that stretch. Finally succeeded and took off with the fish. Dad left shortly afterwards.

Dad brought in another branch and I'm so busy watching that I forgot to screen capture it.

Dad arriving again, and then he was off again. He's going to be a busy boy getting this home in order.

Finally I'm home - groceries - human and dog and of course bakery fat food all put away.

Time to review the recordings

12:20 30 12:28

Sticks 2 and 3 and a mud clump to start the process. As I look at the real time image, there are a lot of sticks now - helter skelter thanks to the center log. Mom is moving sticks to the front and over the edge to the cross beam area.

Lot of work to be done. It's a good thing she is not receptive to mating as yet.

Lots more sticks. Then Dad went into defense mode and Mom brought in grass

Mom took over defense and Dad went stick gathering. Later Mom joined in the stick collecting.
