Happy Mayday everyone! Thanks for starting our day Judy and for the kind wishes. I'll be around for a few more days but must do my Bluebird trail, etc. so won't be on much.

Dad came in at 9.54 am with Mom leaving right away. Her crop looks good so maybe she caught some fish on her earlier break. Wind to fly a kite

It's still sunny and breezy and not that warm yet but our O's may be cooking later in the week with highs of 25C. Wooh

Hi Jean, I'm a bit worried about the influx of hot weather we're expecting this week. There is WAY TOO MUCH SNOW still on the mountains and it's much lower than usual for this time of year. I can only imagine how fast the rivers are going to fill. I hope we're not in for another year of floods. Sad

Mom is still nodding off a lot. She seems extremely tired today.

12:28 pm
Someone is on the river bank fly fishing. So glad the river is now catch and release so that there are fish left for our O's. ... and I hope the hooks are removed when the fish are released !

She then takes off to eat it elsewhere and Dad settles in on the eggs

Wonderful scaps Bet & Judy thank you. Byebye

I peeked in while on the phone and saw Dad feeding Mom , very cute. And I love it when he cuddles....it seems to be this fellow's specialty. love In case you didn't see my thank you last night for the great pics of the egg laying I want to say it again. I was so excited and hated to rush off.

Judy I didn't think about the fast melt and I hope that the heat doesn't stay long right away and cause that. There always seems to be something. NO

2.42 pm Dad finally found away to dislodge our tired Mom today....a nice fish. He's enjoying his egg time. Grin

2:52pm

Mom returned and took over egg sitting. Dad left - dropped back onto the nest at 3:25 He seems to have taken up using the cam housing for a perch

Mom stayed put so Dad did his snuggle bit. They are fun to watch as their heads frequently seem to be connected - turning in unison!

He left the eggs totally unattended for a minute. But quickly dropped back down from the cam housing.
