2.55 pm Back just in time to see the last O fly out over the river....this is a lousy way of watching. I hope that your tape is fruitful Bet. At least we know the fish are coming in in spite of the low river and warm days. Of course with our shorter days and cooler nights now the water will also be cooler.

I gave up on the video. Every time I checked after I got home, the @#$%^& stream had stalled. A couple of times a chick was on the nest, but no context.

I just checked the stream and 3 chicks are on the nest and the cam stream is working - for the moment



Looks like Senior flew off and the LA duo remain waiting and waiting

Looks like SR has arrived.

Fish delivery by Mom from the looks of it. The lighting this time of evening is really odd to make out details..

A second one of the LA's arrived right after Mom and was the lucky one to scoop the fish. The other two didn't have a chance at getting near it.
This LA looks like it could well be JR.


It is anyone's guess if this fish will be shared but it's big enough for all three.

I was talking to my granddaughter and missed the delivery but Dad or Mom must have brought a second fish. because both Jr. and Middy each have one now.

Dad arrived with a fish.


Sr, stood looking at it but didn't take it so Dad flew off with it. Maybe he will return with it.
I think having people below the nest is what scared Dad off.

... I have go to get my granddaughter settled in for the night.

Sorry I wasn't able to get back on here after Dad flew off with the fish last night but I do hope he returned with it so that SR could have it. It did seem to be an abundant evening for food but today may be a different story with the higher temperature in the forecast.

5:55 a.m.
The nest is empty as usual this time of morning.

6:33 am
The first to arrive today is SR


6:40 am
JR arrived but left immediately.


6:48 am
SR flew off and the nest is empty again.

7:15 am
SR returned.

7:52 a.m.
SR. is still waiting for breakfast.


... I have to go make my granddaughter some breakfast

I think it might be JR but the light is at the wrong angle. He is just standing on the rim, undoubtedly hoping for a fish to come flying in
