Good morning and hope everyone is able to get on the website at one point today. It is very sporadic but we are keeping our fingers crossed the problem is sorted out sooner than later. I've been kicked out twice already today with that odd domain page coming up.

7:32 a.m.
Dad was up tending to the egg. So far there is only the one.

8:01 a.m
Mom arrived to relieve Dad. He was gone before I could catch him.

While Mom was on the nest she looked extremely tired. She kept putting her head in her feathers numerous times having catnaps.

8:36 am
Two birds went flying by along the river bank. Looked like maybe large birds but I'm not sure they were osprey.
Dad then arrived to the nest and placed a small stick.
Mom then left and he took over egg duty.

Hi Judy et al. wave

I'll try this again as I see l am still signed in from yesterday when I lost the site. I watched until 11:50 am yesterday May 26th and saw Dad continually in to incubate his egg but always fidgeting and at one point not only stewing bark etc. over the egg but also stepping on it several times... this was around 11:37 -47 am. Mom seemed to finally take over about 11:48 am and I went out shortly afterward after seeing Iris deliver her first egg at Hellgate.

9:50 am Mom does seem sleepy today and this weather won't help. Even Dad was better behaved when he came in to relieve Mom this morning.
I was worried about the egg yesterday...it's a good thing the eggs are tough. Grin

9:55am Dad is just in with a flourish of wings...nudges Mom and she leaves. He covers the egg and chews at the bark in front of him.

10.31 am Mom is up to turn the egg and work the bowl. She appears to be giving it some air...it will be interesting to see how closely together her eggs hatch this year.

Bet do you have this time period on tape.? About 10.20 or so to 10 .40. Mom may have just laid an egg but I was posting at Hellgate and not paying attention here and now am wondering. Puzzled

11.11 am I just got a glimpse of both eggs when Mom stood briefly. lt is overcast but not raining (or snowing). Roll eyes that I can tell. Mom did just shake her head though and it's still cool.

11.22 am Dad lands on the zoo rim and both watch someone walking down to the river and then on by.
Dad flies off....I am not sure that he knows about the new egg yet and Mom may not be in a hurry to show him. Smile

No wonder Mom was so tired today with laying the new egg. She deserves a quiet time on her nest. And a fish would be nice too.
