4:47 Mountain time now and it's a wonderful 83 degrees out there with just a little wind to keep is cool. I am sure the eagles are liking the mild weather and ample food supply.

Hi, to all my fellow nest peepers. The eagles are hyper aware today, watching the area closely. I think they are smelling the smoke from the Sunshine Canyon wildfire, burning about 12 miles NE of them. The wind if blowing the smoke SE, directly towards the next.

It's warm out today, mid 70's, and the wind is blowing with gust to about 20 to 25 mph.

I just popped in. Caught the egg roll and shimmy. I think it must be Mom since no nest material needed to rearranged. The wind is with is again today. You can see the feathers ruffled and nest swaying.

The Sunshine Canyon fire is contained. Our thanks need to go to Boulder firefighters and nearby cities who came to Boulders aid.

6 inches of snow plus freezing rain would make me stay home to so I could cruise nest cams and those of other wildlife. LOL, I have been watching April the Giraffe for a month and she still hasn't dropped her calf. LOL I have been told I need a winter hobby.

The eagles are calm today. The Sunshine Canyon fire is out. The smoke is clearing. Cool front moving through, only mid 50s today.

Just curious Bev, what would happen to the eggs if a fire came close. Would the eagles pick them up and fly to somewhere safe? That is what I would think would happen.
