Good Morning All. Just checking in here and saw a squirrel leap over far side of nest! That got Dad's attention and is now on alert. Squirrel took off fast when he saw that someone was home at the nest! Looks like a gusty/windy morning. Here's hoping for a good 2017 nesting season with healthy chicks this year. Looks like our parents are off to a good start.

Good evening, all! A quick peek at the nest reveals continuing winds, still blowing at about 16 mph. Liberty (I think it's her...but it could be Freedom, hard to say from this angle) is hunkered down and has her beak dug in for additional grip when the gusts blow through the area. Does look like things are drying out after the day's precipitation, thankfully.
