Good morning, all!

4:50 AM, ET - I believe Dad is currently still on the nest (shift change occurred at about 4:27 AM). The roosters and geese are quite vocal at the moment, but all seems well. Weather and wind both mild.

Good Morning to all who love and watch this nest! Looks like Dad to me too Jennifer, that was an early shift change but then all that early morning noise will do it. giggle

Weather forecast for today at the nest, going to be another good one

2:46 AM (ET) - Quiet night at the nest, mild weather conditions. Other viewers of this nest have posted (via the HDOnTap IR cam website) that Liberty was absent for most of the day as well as the evening, and that Freedom has remained on incubation duty for the duration without relief. I have not seen a shift change since tuning in about an hour ago and, due to the fact that the parent currently incubating on the nest has remained in the tucked position for some time now, I'm not certain if it's Freedom or Liberty...

I'll report if anything changes before I sign off - for now I'm just hoping all is well. fingers crossed

3:18 AM (ET) - Egg rolling before quickly settling back down to incubate and tuck in (still unsure which parent is on the nest - but no shift change since last report).

Good Morning to all who love and watch the nest. Thanks Jennifer for the update over night. Not unusual to not have a shift change over night since mom's usually brood overnights on eagle nests. I did see this comment from Karen Libby who is a local eagle watcher and connected to this nest...

Karen Lippy • an hour ago

I have heard that Dad is being seen on the nest more than Mom. This is only a guess, but we have an intruder in the area. I have heard males fight males and females fight females. It is possible the intruder is an unmated female and Mom is the one chasing all the time. I will try to watch today to see if this is continuing. Reports from the ground by Linda Heine and Dave Wagaman that a chase did ensue again yesterday. This intruder is insistent as this has been going on for over a week.

there was a female intruder around before Mom laid her first egg that was bothersome, But Mom will be the one who will chase her off and hopefully not get hurt. Hopefully I will have more time to watch today! Smile

Weather forecast for the nest today, a little cooler
